    Hi Josh from Oz,

Thank you for sharing this post, i found it quite insightful

I am currently making money myself but through creating my own website at WA in the business of affiliate marketing. There are many sites out there that pay you to write articles which is cool and i may look in the future at this kind of making money online once my blog writing skills have improved

    cheers

Hi Josh, awesome name by the way. That’s cool that you are making money from your websites. You can utilize articles writers to help you expand your business. This is the quickest way to grow in my opinino.

A great place to start. I’m on Textbroker right now which is okay, but all the problems you listed are pretty much all the problems I have with content mills in general. But I’m still on it, because it’s better than not making any money at all right? Even though I’ve only made about 30 dollars on it. I’m also on upwork, but I can’t get a single client on there, possibly due to lack of experience. I own my own website too, but it’s been four months and no money from my affiliate links. Life is hard right now but I keep trying.

Hey Jaylin, I’ve heard Text Broker are real cheap to buy articles from. Which kind of put me off. I get decent quality from I Need Articles so I have resisted Text Brokers. Yes indeed $30 is better than nothing and if you can make just a small amount per month from writing articles it will help relieve the stress on finances for building your website to a decent income. 4 Months is still not all that long, keep plugging away with your site and never stop learning. The earning potential is unlimited so never give up.

Hi Josh From Oz. You have an excellent article about writing articles. I usually write my own website content, but had an occasion to hire a freelancer to write a generic article for me. I used a source called iWriter. They are a content and article writing service. What I liked about them is that I did not have to pay for the article I requested until I read and approved the article. This was good because the first article I received was terrible. I rejected it. This put my article request back into the queue for another writer. The result was very good. So I accepted and paid for it.

      Hi Glen,

I started out with iwriter and they were ok. But a little to hit and miss for me. That’s when I found I need articles and have been 90% impressed with the writers over there. Thanks for dropping by.

    Amazing article Josh.

I really enjoyed reading it and I learned a ton of new things as well.

I have never considered “hiring” a freelance writer until now and I am going to look into it so much more. It seems like a very good investment.

Wealthy Affiliate is an amazing community and whoever is serious about starting an online business of their own should join it.

    Much gratitude.

Outsourcing is one of the best business practices both online and offline. If you own a offline business and want to expand you hire more helpers and take on more work. It’s exactly the same with an online business. Hire more writers and produce more content. Then increase your bottom line. I was always hesitant to use paid writers because of quality control. But it’s a matter of having a bit of trust and trying a few writers out.

I have been thinking a lot about writing for cash with sites like iWriter, but the prospect of getting rejected frightens me as English is not my native language. I can write in English, but not under pressure. Perhaps, if I am requested to write with a deadline, then it will be a real struggle for me!

With regard to Option 2, of making money again and again with your own article published in your own website, is a better option for me. Not only that there’s no one pressuring me to write, I also get a better deal of money with my efforts. Imagine getting paid again and again with the residual income that can come with affiliate sales? That’s a winner to me.

But perhaps, just to reward my curiosity, I will try Option 1. What do you think?

Hi Gomer, writing articles to get paid is not a bad thing, it’s just not the best long term plan. I would recommend option 1 if you need a few bucks quickly to help grow your other online businesses. Maybe write a few articles per month to pay for training, hosting, domains etc. That will then take the financial pressure off building a stable long term website. I think your English is fine and I wouldn’t worry about time pressures. With places like Ineedarticles there is no specific deadline so to speak. Generally I get my articles delivered within 1-3 days. Hope that helps.

I really enjoyed reading through this article, it gave me some good pointers and areas that I totally forgot about. I like the part where you talk about writing the article for your self and getting paid over and over for it. So many people don’t realize that they can do this.
For me, writing a 700 word article and receive around $7 to $11 is just not worth it. It takes me a couple of days to do research, do my outline and then put it all together.
This is great advise for anyone that truly wants to succeed with an online business.
What I would like to know is how you built your traffic?
I will have to check out the rest of your website and come back and visit again.
    Thanks

I totally agree about writing 700 words and getting just $7-$11 is not worth your time. But I can totally understand if someone was to write just 4-6 articles per month to help pay for memberships, domains etc while growing there other business. How do I build traffic?. By targeting keywords using Jaaxy and following the training at WA. That is how I have always done it. I’m not one for going out and guest posting or buying backlinks etc. I’d rather spend the time building my websites out.

Great Article Josh. Writing articles for others is a great way to earn income fast for yourself, provided of course that you are a good writer.

Ideally, you should aim to only write articles for yourself, but if you need cash in a hurry, then this option does take time. Doing both in the beginning if you have the time on your hands will serve a dual purpose of getting you money fast, and in the long term building your online business.

I couldn’t agree more Michel. Writing for your own website is the BEST way to make money. If you can afford the small monthly fees of maintaning a website and are not putting your family out. Then write for your own site. But if someone can’t put together $50 a month to grow their online business then maybe writing a few articles a month for others is the best route.
